SeaBird Exploration Plc has announced that it has received a letter of award from a National oil company in the Asia Pacific region for its seismic vessel, Aquila Explorer.
The work program value is approximately USD 5 million and will start in late August following completion of the current contract. Contract duration is estimated to 50 days including mobilization.
Cyprus-based SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, and associated products and services to the oil and gas industry.
M/V Aquila Explorer is the first vessel that joined the fleet for operation in 2007, after being converted to seismic vessel in Singapore.
