ASNE Day 2013

Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Arlington
Feb 21 2013 - Feb 22 2013

With the ever increasing cost of naval military operations, the importance of efficient use of naval assets will be imperative for United States’ total naval dominance. The Navy, Marine Corps and USCG are constantly evaluating various facets of engineering disciplines and concepts of operational and logistical support in order to maintain an acceptable level of readiness for a variety of campaigns between services and among the NATO and other allies. To meet current and emerging warfighter needs and deliver future Force capabilities, the naval engineers are having to evaluate, implement, test and verify various commercial, emerging and intrusive technologies to ensure that the most prudent engineering practices are adopted to meet the required capabilities of a given program both in terms of funding levels and the Fleet and Force military tactical needs. ASNE Day 2013 will endeavor to focus on the key engineering and technological challenges that will have to be met for United States’ Maritime Dominance.
