We know it all too well: the classic uninspired conference. The program is packed with presentations. You sit passively and listen while others ask questions to promote themselves. Directors and experts talk about each other. The past 50 years of research show that this is an inefficient way of learning. Offshore Strategy Conference continues to focus on the participants. The most important thing during a conference is to meet friends and colleagues from the industry: to hear to others experience and test out your own views. The lectures are also important, but primarily as a resource to spread expertise in the hall for further discussions.
