IKM to Provide ROV Services to McDermott in Malaysia

IKM Subsea (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. was recently awarded a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) contract by Berlian McDermott Sdn. Bhd., the Malaysian affiliate of McDermott International, Inc.

The project involves installation of suction anchors offshore Malaysia. IKM Subsea will provide the Merlin WR200 Workclass ROV along with required personnel and tooling onboard the Construction Support vessel.

Mahesh Govindan, IKM Subsea Singapore’s General Manager said ”IKM Subsea is glad to be associated with one of the world’s leading engineering and construction contractors on such a significant deepwater project.

“It is very satisfying to see that IKM is gaining more and more recognition in Malaysia and is the acknowledgement of the quality of services we are supplying to the Malaysian oil and gas market,” said Mustaffa Kamal, IKM Subsea Malaysia’s Managing Director.

IKM Subsea has continued to grow in the region and is establishing itself as a reliable ROV service provider.
