Four offshore workers kidnapped on August 4 from an accommodation barge in Nigerian waters have been released, Reuters reports.
The workers, employees of the Netherlands-based Sea Trucks Group, were captured by pirates in a violent attack, while being aboard the Jascon 33 accommodation vessel. Two guards were killed during the incident.
In an e-mail sent to Reuters, the company’s spokeswoman said that the crew men were released Wednesday night and that they were OK.
