Malaysia’s largest oilfield services provider, SapuraKencana has received a letter of award from Hess Corporation for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a wellhead platform.
SapuraKencana’s subsidiary, Kencana HL Sdn Bhd will, under the award, provide the Kamelia-A WHP for Hess’ Kamelia field, located in the North Malay Basin, some 300km offshore Peninsular Malaysia.
The value of the contract is estimated at USD 44.49 million, with the work expected to be finished by the first quarter of 2013.
