International drilling contractor Seadrill Limited has today acquired additional 12,883 shares of Asia Offshore Drilling Limited.
The shares were acquired at a price of NOK 28.70 per share (USD 5.03) . Following this acquisition, Seadrill will be the owner of 65.89% of the total number of outstanding shares in the Asia Offshore Drilling.
Asia Offshore Drilling currently owns three jack-up rigs under construction by Keppel FELS.
