Gulf Marine Services has been awarded a three year well maintenance contract for the self elevating self-propelled jack up barge Kikuyu commencing in December 2012 with Occidental Petroleum in Qatar.
The barge Kikuyu has been servicing wells continuously for Oxy since the barge was built in 2005 with an excellent safety record, having suffered no lost time injury in this period. Contract commencement will be in direct continuation of the current contract when it expires.
