AGR to Drill Exploration Well for Major Indian Company

AGR has been awarded a full project management services contract to drill an exploration well for a major Indian company.

The company’s portfolio includes interests in the Indian sub-continent, Indonesia and Australia.

The well will be located in Northern Australia waters.

The contract, awarded to AGR’s Perth based team, includes provision of full well management, including drilling engineering, planning, procurement, regulatory requirements and operational support and has a total estimated value of approximately AUD$4 million.

AGR’s Asia Pacific VP, Bruce Roebuck, said: “This is a significant contract for AGR and further strengthens our position as the leading well management group in Australian waters.”

AGR delivers services to the upstream oil and gas industry throughout the whole value chain. AGR’s services are offered regionally by business centres established in Norway, UK, USA, Australia, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
