Aker BP takes Simon Møkster’s platform supplier

Norway’s Simon Møkster Shipping has agreed a contract extension for one of its vessels with its compatriot, exploration and production player, Aker BP.

Simon Møkster said on Friday the company has won a three-month firm extension for the platform supply vessel (PSV) Stril Orion.

According to the shipping company, the contract has the following options: 3+3 months + 13*1 month + 30*1 day.

The PSV, of a STX PSV 09L CD design, was delivered to its owner in October 2011. It is 93.5 meters long and 19 meters wide with 1,040 m2 deck.
