Alfa Laval’s offshore fire water pump for North Sea platform

Sweden’s Alfa Laval has won an order to supply Framo pumping systems to an oil platform in the North Sea.

The order, valued at 60 million Swedish crowns, comprises offshore fire water pumping systems to an unnamed offshore oil platform in the North Sea.

“I am very pleased to announce this large order for our Framo pumping systems,” says Peter Leifland, President of the Marine Division. “In the offshore oil and gas industry it is vital to use reliable and safe equipment. This order proves that we can meet these high demands.”

The Swedish company did not reveal the name of the client.
