Angola: FG International Holland BV Awarded Flare Tip Handling Study for Total PAZflor FPSO

FG International Holland BV, the Dutch Special Lifting company, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Flare Tip Handling study of the newbuild FPSO for Total’s PAZflor development in Angola.

With almost 400 jobs performed successfully , FG has 25 years experience in on and offshore Flare Tip Handling. The Eindhoven (Netherlands) based company is the contractor of choice nowadays to assist asset owners in selecting the best possible way to plan the shutdown of their valuable capital goods. Increasingly oil companies demand already in the FEED study phase for new units that critical decisions are being taken about the ‘exhaust/safety valve’ of their system.

FG applies its latest in-house developed technology for Pazflor, the so called ’12 hours Lifting Arch Frame’. The flare tip is located 127 meter above the main deck of the 325m x 61m FPSO.
