ASL Marine Delivers ‘Mermaid Leeuwin’ PSV

ASL Marine, a Singapore-based company which provides shipbuilding, ship repair, and other marine-related services, today delivered a new platform supply vessel to Mermaid Marine Australia Ltd.

The 82 meters long vessel was named the ‘Mermaid Leeuwin’ at a ceremony held earlier this month.

Mermaid Leeuwin is a state of the art, VARD-designed PSV 05L CD, DNV-classed Platform Supply Vessel with Fire Fighter-1, DYNPOS AUTR, E0, Clean Design and Comfort Class III notations.

“She demonstrated excellent manoeuvring characteristics and met all her notation requirements comfortably during her trials and we are pleased to have added this brand new vessel to Mermaid Marine’s growing and ultra-modern fleet of OSVs,” ASL Marine said .
