BGP Challenger wraps up seismic survey in Madagascar

China’s BGP has announced that its seismic vessel Challenger has completed a 2D seismic survey for an international oil company offshore Madagascar on early February 2014 with the acquisition of approximately 2,700 km.

BGP Challenger has shoot more than 21,986 kms of 2D seismic survey offshore Madagascar of the course of two years.

SRV BGP Challenger is a multi-streamer seismic vessel, she is outfitted with state of the art seismic equipment such as Sercel Seal Recording Instrument, Sentinel Solid Streamer. SRV BGP Challenger is capable of towing 1×12,000m streamer length or 2x6000m streamers configuration.
