BGP names new president

BGP Inc. has appointed Gou Liang as new Managing Director and president, replacing Wang Tiejun who has a new appointment in China National Petroleum Corporation.

Gou Liang previously held the position of Vice President of BGP. He joined BGP in 1982, and has been working in geophysical service industry for 32 years. He played a leadership role in top management of BGP since 2003. Gou Liang holds a PhD degree from the Chendu University of Technology.

BGP is a geophysical service company, delivering a wide range of technologies, services and equipment to the oil and gas industry worldwide. BGP is engaged in seismic data acquisition, processing, interpretation, reservoir geophysics, borehole seismic, micro-seismic, GME and multi-client surveys, equipment manufacturing and software R&D.
