Bilfinger not moving to new HQ after all

Bilfinger has made the decision not to move its Group headquarters to a new building in Mannheim’s Glückstein Quarter in Germany.

“The ongoing restructuring programs have had an impact on many of the Group’s employees. In a situation like this, a new headquarters building would send the wrong signal,” said Herbert Bodner, Chairman of the Executive Board at Bilfinger SE, explaining the company’s decision.

“There are no plans to move Group headquarters out of Mannheim to another location.”

Bilfinger says that, together with the city of Mannheim, it will look into options with regard to how the property in the Glückstein Quarter can be used in the future.
