BMT Asia Pacific Names New Business Development Manager

Singapore based, BMT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (BMT), a subsidiary of BMT Group, has appointed Andrew Bridson as Business Development Manager, to support its rapid growth in the region.

With over 13 years’ experience of working in the oil and gas, energy and marine sectors, Andrew will lead the company in developing current and future opportunities in these markets. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in innovative marine based investments and solutions, utilising a range of industry and novel Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) concepts.

His experience will strengthen the company’s position as an end-to-end solutions provider in the development, optimisation and maintenance of port facilities, and as a designer of concepts for floating platforms for liquid storage and materials handling.

Previously employed by BW’s investment and project development arm in Singapore as Business Development Manager, Andrew led the commercial development of LNG and gas projects across the value chain, globally. Before this, he held a similar role at Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) in their conventional and offshore LNG department.

Andrew has an MBA International Business from the European Business School of London and a BSc (Hons) Nautical Science from Liverpool John Moores University. He is a member of the Energy Institute and the Nautical Institute (MNI).
