Brazil: OSX Initiates Engineering of Two Wellhead Platforms

OSX initiates engineering services for wellhead platforms – the company’s order book moves foward with WHP-1 e WHP-2.

OSX Leasing, a subsidiary of OSX Brazil, an EBX Group Company, initiates the basic engineering of two Wellhead Platforms (WHP-1 and WHP-2). The service will be delivered by Techint Engenharia e Construção S/A and the unities will be chartered and operated by OSX subsidiaries to OSX’s client OGX, for the Campos Basin.

OSX and Techint have already entered into a Letter of Intent and shall negotiate the relevant contract for Engineering Services, Procurement, Construction (EPC) and Assembly of such two WHPs, for the possible construction of such WHPs at Techint’s facilities in Brazil.

“With no doubt, this initiative is another step forward by OSX in line with our mission of providing integrated solutions of equipment and services for the development of the oil and gas production to our clientel in Brazil”, says OSX’s president director, Luiz Eduardo Carneiro.
