CGG makes three board changes

French geophysical company CGG has appointed three new members to its board of directors.

CGG said on Friday that Colette Lewiner replaced Hilde Myrberg who resigned from her board position for the remainder of her term.

Myrberg’s term was supposed to end on the general meeting called to approve the financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018.

Colette Lewiner, a nuclear energy specialist, worked many years in the consultancy business in energy, utilities, and chemicals. She is presently independent board director at EDF, Groupe Bouygues, GETLINK, EDF, Nexans, and Ingénico.

Mario Ruscev replaced Jean-Georges Malcor who resigned from his position on the board, without impact on Malcor’s CEO position. His board term was supposed to end at the same time as Myrberg’s.

Mario Ruscev spent 23 years with Schlumberger and since was the CEO of FormFactor, CEO of IGSS, and a chief technology officer at Baker Hughes then at Weatherford.

The final change was the naming of Philippe Salle instead of M. Loren Carroll which resigned from his board position for the remainder of his term set to end at the general meeting called to approve the financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2020.

The company also indicated its intention to nominate Salle as the chairman of the board of directors to replace Rémi Dorval whose term of office will expire at the end of the annual general meeting to be held on April 26, 2018.

Philippe Salle started his career in Total and several consulting firms and was appointed CEO of Vedior, Geoservices, Altran, and Elior. Since December 2017, he has been a CEO of Foncia. He is currently an independent board director at Banque Transatlantique, Gaz transport & Technigaz, and Bourbon.
