Chevron opts for MRC Global as Gulf of Mexico supplier

American energy company Chevron has picked the Houston-based MRC Global to supply its Gulf of Mexico operations with pipes, valves and fittings (PVF) products and services.

MRC Global also said that it has been awarded an extension to its maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) agreement to supply PVF products and services to Chevron’s mid-continent U.S. operations, which includes Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming.

Andrew R. Lane, MRC Global Chairman, President & CEO, said: “I am grateful that Chevron continues to trust MRC Global with their ongoing PVF needs.”

“The agreement to support Chevron’s Gulf of Mexico operations represents an expansion of MRC Global’s Gulf of Mexico business and is a result of our commitment to build out our service model in this important offshore market.”
