Oil and gas procurement specialist, Craig International, has been awarded a contract with Chrysaor.
The contract is for an initial year with two one-year options included, Craig International said in a statement on Monday.
To remind, after taking over a package of Shell’s North Sea assets, Chrysaor has awarded a number of contracts for various services on its newly-acquired assets. These contracts were awarded to contracts to Stork, Sparrows Group, Return To Scene Limited, DNV GL, and Well-Centric.
Back to Craig International, the contract award by Chrysaor will see the company provide its procurement services to the Armada, Everest and Lomond gas platforms. The assets are located in the Everest gas field located 233km east of Aberdeen in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).
The workscope will see Craig International responsible for the procurement of consumables and ad-hoc procurement services to support operations for the three assets.
The project, which has created a new position in the company’s Aberdeen base, will have a dedicated team, headed by a senior buyer, for the duration of the contract, the company said.
Steve McHardy, joint managing director, Craig International commented: “This is a significant contract for Craig International as we continue to expand our operations in the North Sea.”
