Dolphin in two 3D seismic projects offshore India

Dolphin Geophysical, a Norwegian seismic survey company, has accepted the Letter of Award to perform “major” 3D seismic projects in India.

To remind Dolphin on October 15, 2015, said it had been selected as the first shortlisted contractor for a major project offshore India by a repeat client, without revealing the client, or the value of the contract.

In a press release issued on Friday, Dolphin again did not disclose any financial details, or who the “repeat client” was.

The company only repeated what was said in October: “Dolphin was the preferred contractor in a public bid opening ceremony. Dolphin will utilize two 3D seismic vessels for a total of approximately 9 months to complete the two projects.”

Dolphin abstained from saying which vessels would be used for the project.
