Dovre Group to support Shell ops in Norway

Dovre Group, a Finland-based project partner and provider of consulting services, has secured a long-term framework agreement with Norske Shell for the provision of temporary technical personnel.

Dovre Group, that specializes in providing project management and engineering professionals for large projects, for example in the energy industry, said on Thursday that the scope of the deal is valid for three years with options for two one-year extension periods.

Subcontractors for the duration of the framework agreement will be Lloyds Register Consulting-Energy, Sweco, TS Group, and Webstep.

The company will be in charge of recruitment and mobility services within defined competence areas.

Dovre Group already has a history of cooperation with Shell on project completion duties, engineering as well as site management in Norway and Canada.

Arve Jensen, President of Dovre Group’s Project Personnel business area in Norway, said: “We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract and to continue working for Shell in Norway.

“Shell is an important client for us, and we look forward to developing the partnership in challenging times with major cutbacks on supplier and contractor services throughout the industry.”
