Drydocks World completes its first RIAP project on NDC’s rig

Drydocks World, the international oil and gas service provider, has completed the yard’s first Rig Integrity Assurance Program (RIAP) on the National Drilling Company-owned jack-up rig Diyina.

This was also the first engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning (EPCC) concept rig project the yard has undertaken.

Drydocks World said it had completed 17 projects for NDC so far, with rig Diyina being the first RIAP project.

Drydocks said it had carried out approximately 90,000sqm of painting  work, and used 2,000T of steel, 17 kilometers of piping, and 180 kilometers of cabling for the rig.

According to the National Drilling Company’s data, the rig is contracted to Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO).
