Glomar Offshore secures ERRV charter in UK

Glomar Offshore, a Dutch provider of offshore vessels, has won contracts for its Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels in the UK sector of the North Sea.

According to the Monday’s statement, as the oil and gas drilling activity in the Netherlands diminished, the company has transferred its NOGEPA stand-by vessels into UK oil and gas sector as ERRV.

As a result, Glomar said it has won one 3 year charter with 3 years of options in the UK North Sea for the Glomar Pride vessel, a seasonal contract for the Glomar Allure vessel.

“We are proud to see that our strategy towards the UKOG ERRV sector is materializing, and believe that we can further grow into this market,”  said Mark van der Star,  Chief Commercial Officer, Glomar Offshore.

The Dutch company did not reveal the name of the client(s), nor the financial details of the contracts.
