Golden Energy Offshore Services (GEOS) has secured a contract extension for its Energy Swan platform supplier with Wintershall Norge.

The contract is in direct continuation of the charter contract from 2013, Golden Energy said on Tuesday.

Namely, the large PSV Energy Swan was in 2013 chartered for a firm period of four years plus optional (total of 4 years options).

Wintershall Norge and GEOS agreed after expiration of the firm period several extensions, latest with firm period to December 31, 2018. The parties have now agreed that the vessel will remain firm on charter in direct continuation present firm period and till April 30, 2019. The charter rate reflects the market conditions.

The parties have further agreed that charterers continue having options available to charter the vessel as per the original charter till November 30, 2021.

Energy Swan is a large PSV/ pipe carrier of an ST 216 design built in 2005.
