IKM Consultants to provide manpower for Aker BP

IKM Consultants, an IKM Group subsidiary, has signed a manpower provision deal with the new exploration and production company in Norway Aker BP.

IKM said on Friday that the framework agreement signed with Aker BP is a three-year deal for the provision of temporary manpower. More precisely, the contract will last from Thursday, December 1, 2016, to December 31, 2019.

The company added that the contract has two one-year extension options and that it entails the delivery of personnel within multi-technical, supply chain management, economy, and administration categories.

The new framework agreement replaces IKM’s current deal with Det norske that recently merged with BP Norge in a deal announced in June this year and completed on Thursday, December 1.

Business Development Manager of IKM Consultants, Mariann Espedal Ericson, said: “The award means we will retain our role as a vendor to a major client, which has a stated ambition for growth in a market that is heavily influenced by decline.”
