Indonesia: Drydocks Delivers Self Elevating Platform

Drydocks Launches Self Elevating Platform in Indonesia

Drydocks World delivered Self Elevating Platform, L210 to Curacao based Self Elevating Platforms N.V., a supplier of Self Elevating Platforms for both the energy markets including gas, oil, and windmills as well as the heavy civil construction market.

The platform was built at the Drydocks World specialized rig building facility in Graha, Indonesia at a contract value of $24.6m. Self Elevating Platforms N.V. is a repeat customer of Drydocks World.

The MSC SEA-3250 type platform is 75.9 metre long, 40 metre wide and 6 metre deep and operates at a water depth of 45 metres. The vessel is classed by ABS with Maltese Cross A1 Self Elevating Unit notation. Four 87.7-metre tubular legs of diameter 3.5 m and a 1000-tonne capacity offshore crane have been installed on the platform. The Accommodation unit can carry up to 350 people.
