InterMoor names two new members to its UK engineering team

InterMoor, a provider of mooring services, foundation solutions and offshore installations in subsea services group Acteon, has appointed two new engineers to its UK entity.

InterMoor UK appointed Nick Callaghan as a senior structural engineer with responsibility for development and delivery of structural engineering within the Aberdeen team.

Prior to joining InterMoor, Callaghan worked in structural and project-based roles at several companies, including BP, Woodgroup Kenny, and Saipem. Notable is his five-year experience as a lead project engineer for BP on the Quad204 project, executing the installation of the Glen Lyon FPSO in the West of Shetland sector of the North Sea.

He is also a chartered member of Mechanical Engineers and a member of the SUT in Aberdeen.

The company also appointed Cristian Maxim as a senior naval architect who would be in charge of providing engineering consultancy in the areas of naval architecture and structural engineering.

Before InterMoor, Maxim worked as a consultant naval architect and structural engineer at several companies, including WoodGroup Kenny, GL Noble Denton, and BAE Systems.

He also serves as a professional review interviewer for RINA and is a member of the Engineering Council and Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
