Maersk oil releases environmental report

The Environmental Report 2013 covering Maersk Oil’s oil and gas activities in the Danish North Sea is now available.

“Across the business, activity levels were high at Maersk Oil Danish Business Unit in 2013. This was largely due to increased maintenance to safeguard production at our older platforms and wells; continued progress on projects to bring these into production; and exploration to find more oil and gas.

At the same time, we made efforts to improve our environmental performance,” says Mark Wallace, Managing Director of Maersk Oil Danish Business Unit.

The report covers the environmental performance and seeks to present a balanced view of the achievements and challenges.
