Naming Ceremony for Olympic Shipping's Offshore Support Vessel

Olympic Shipping announced that the naming ceremony of their new vessel Olympic Electra was held in Myklebust Yard on Friday (November 18th, 2011).

The company said that the ceremony, in spite of the rainy weather, was a successful event performed in an excellent manner by the vessel’s Godmother Merete Kvalsund.

Olympic Electra is a Multipurpose Field Support Vessel with diesel electrical propulsion, low fuel consumption and high flexibility which can accommodate a total of 40 persons.
