The company added Crighton has a background in remote operated vehicles (ROVs) technologies, subsea operations, and marine and vessel management.

According to Crighton’s LinkedIn profile, his previous appointment was with Subsea 7 as technical manager. He was in charge of remote intervention technology (RIT) input and assistance for all Australasian projects. He was also an ROV systems auditor for the the company.

The newly appointed role, based in Bahrain, is focused on client support and business development activities in the Gulf region. Crighton will be in charge of promoting Neptune’s services including ROV, survey, and stabilization to new and existing clients.

Robin King, CEO of Neptune Marine Services said: “While Neptune is already performing work and has ROV and stabilization equipment in the Middle East, Frank’s appointment will further strengthen the relationships Neptune has in the region and provide a permanent presence for our ongoing work commitments.”
