NHV, based in Ostend, operates a fleet of more than 60 helicopters. The helicopter operator is active in the North Sea and West Africa regions, providing support for the oil and gas industry, as well as for wind farms. It is also active in the search and rescue, emergency medical and maritime service sectors.

“Safety has always been an uncompromising value at NHV,” commented HHV Group CEO Steffen Bay. “We embrace the opportunity to share this expertise to the benefit of our industry and everyone who works offshore. NHV looks forward to a powerful collaboration with the HeliOffshore community, demonstrating together our shared commitment to safety.”

HeliOffshore CEO Gretchen Haskins said: “We are delighted that NHV has joined HeliOffshore as a member, signaling its strong commitment to taking action in support of our joint program to further enhance safety in offshore helicopter operations. There are now more than 120 organizations worldwide engaged in our unprecedented collaboration for safety, and we look forward to including the NHV team in our work stream activities.”

HeliOffshore has 122 members from around the globe. Its founding members are helicopter operators well-known in the offshore oil and gas industry such as Bristow, CHC, Babcock, and Era.
