Norway: DOF Subsea Expands its Fleet with Two Schilling Robotics’ ROVs

Schilling Robotics, LLC, experts in subsea systems, announced  the award of a contract for two ROV systems from specialist subsea service company DOF Subsea. The award is for one (1) 200hp UHD™ ROV system and one (1) 150hp HD™ ROV system. Deliveries of the ROVs are scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2011.

Yesterday’s order follows the September 2010 commitment from DOF that now expands their fleet to include eight (8) Schilling Robotics ROVs. As DOF continues to grow its presence in the international deepwater market, the combined flexibility of the HD™ and UHD™ will enable DOF to expand its service offering.

“Following the success that DOF has experienced with Schilling’s UHD™ ROVs, we are very pleased that they have also selected the HD™ ROV,” says Tyler Schilling, chief executive officer for Schilling Robotics. “The HD is fully compliant with the most demanding E&P company requirements, including those of Statoil and Petrobras, making DOF well positioned for new work.”
