Ocean Falcon ERRV handed over to Atlantic Offshore

Norwegian company Atlantic Offshore has reported that their latest Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel (ERRV), Ocean Falcon, is now delivered from Zamakona yard in San Sebastian, Spain.

The company said that the vessel will now sail for Aberdeen, where the naming ceremony will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015.

According to Atlantic Offshore, Ocean Falcon is the last in a series of three vessels that the company ordered, all with HY820 design. The Ocean Osprey and Ocean Marlin, delivered in 2014, were the first two vessels in this series.

Ocean Falcon will start its 5-year fixed contract (plus 5*1 years’ options) with Shell UK.
