Oceanteam adds new member to its board

Norwegian-Dutch offshore service provider listed Oceanteam has named a new member to its board. 

Diederik Legger has been appointed as a member of the board of birectors of Oceanteam as of July 31, the company said on Friday.

According to the company, Legger has over 22 years of experience as a manager and consultant in the international shipping and offshore industry. He excels in Internal Organization, Restructuring and Recovery, Ship Finance, cross border M&A and Business Developments.

Trained in Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, he specialized in transport and logistics. His research into the container shipping industry, led him to work for various shipping banks in the Netherlands and abroad. Later on he worked on the ”owner side” in shipping companies such as the stock-listed Star Reefers and Orient Shipping Rotterdam.

Diederik was one of the founding fathers and CEO of Rolldock; the Dutch heavy lift shipping company.
