Olympic nets new deals for AHTS and OCV vessels

Norwegian shipping company Olympic has been awarded new contracts for the company’s AHTS and OCV vessels with an international contractor. 

The company’s two multifunctional anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels, Olympic Hercules and Olympic Pegasus, as well as an AHTS and offshore construction vessel (OCV), Olympic Zeus, will be employed on a project in West Africa.

According to Olympic, contract period for Olympic Hercules and Olympic Pegasus are up to 24 weeks including options, and 9 weeks including options for the third vessel, the Olympic Zeus.

In addition, the shipping company said that an AHTS and OCV Olympic Hera has been awarded a contract with an international contractor for work in Trinidad & Tobago.

Estimated contract period for Olympc Hera is eight weeks.

The company also said that the vessels have already started the contracts, but did not reveal the name of the contractor nor the value of the contracts.
