Olympic Shipping orders IMR vessel from Kleven

Norway’s Kleven shipyard has signed a contract with Olympic Shipping for the building of an Inspection Maintenance Repair vessel of MT 6021 MKII design.

The contract value is around NOK 450 million ($75.5 million), and the vessel will be delivered from Kleven Verft in June 2015.
The MT 6021 MKII design is a further development of the MT 6021 design, of which Kleven Verft is building a vessel for Olympic with delivery in March 2015.

The vessel is equipped with an offshore crane, ROV hangars, and with accommodation capacity for 80 persons.

Kleven has 13 vessels in its orderbook, at a total value of around NOK 8 bn ($1.34 billion).
