Petrobras cancels tender for AHTS vessels

Siem Offshore has informed that Brazil’s Petrobras has cancelled tender for AHTS vessels.

According to Siem Offshore, the tender comprises, among others, bids from Siem Offshore for four vessels already employed in Brazil and two additional AHTS vessels.

The company explains that contracts for four of the AHTS vessels with Petrobras in Brazil have previously had their terms extended up to end of February 2015.

Petrobras issued in December 2014 a new tender for AHTS vessels with similar specification. Siem Offshore notes that the bid date for the new tender is for end of January 2015, but subject to any postponement.
