Petrobras extends charter for Farstad Shipping’s AHTS

Petrobras has extended the charter contract with Farstad Shipping ASA for the AHTS BOS Turmalina.

The new contract is for additional 600 days.

Before the contract starts, the vessel will be upgraded for ROV support services. The company expects for the new contract to start at the end of January 2015.

Petrobras has the option to extend the contract with up to 8 years. Total value of the contract, excluding options, is approximately NOK 180 million ($26.78 million).

BOS Turmalina is an anchor handling tug supply vessel built in 2006 at Itajai Shipyard.
