Songa Venus stays with Petronas

Petronas, Malaysian state-controlled oil company, has exercised the 1 year optional contract for Songa Offshore’s semi-submersible drilling rig, Songa Venus.

Songa Offshore, a Cyprus based drilling contractor and the owner of the rig, has revealed the information in its fleet status report for July 2012, without disclosing the value of the contract.
