The centre, which is located at Tower 2 of the PETRONAS Twin Towers, houses real-time Drilling Operations and Monitoring Centre (DOMC); data review facility with secured geo-computing architecture and 3D visualisation with stereoscopic screens and visualiser.

PETRONAS’ Executive Vice-President of Exploration and Production Business, Dato’ Wee Yiaw Hin said the practical know-how imparted through the PRTVC will be able to address complex challenges within E&P operations.

“The virtual reality capabilities and other technical solutions available at the centre will also help to make real-time decisions and this would reduce high operating costs and time in our E&P operations.
