Höegh LNG Ltd took delivery of the “PGN FSRU Lampung”, the first of the four newbuilt FSRUs that the company has ordered from Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd (HHI), on April 17.

The “PGN FSRU Lampung” is currently sailing to Lampung in Indonesia to start 20 years of operation for the Lampung floating storage and regasification unit project. The project is on schedule and is expected to start operation in June 2014.

Sveinung J.S. Støhle, President and CEO of HLNG, stated: “We are delighted to have reached this important milestone together with HHI and Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) and we are pleased to be part of such an important element of Indonesia’s energy infrastructure. We now have three FSRUs in our fleet and with three more on order, we continue to grow our position as the leading provider of floating regasification services from newbuilt FSRUs.”
