Photo: Bollsta Dolphin semi shows its face

Following several artistic impressions of the Bollsta Dolphin semi-submersble drilling rig, Fred. Olsen Energy, the owner, has finally revealed a photo of the rig.

The harsh environment ultra-deepwater semi-submersible is currently under construction at the Hyundai Heavy Industries yard in South Korea.

The rig was originally slated for delivery in the late first quarter of the year, but according to Fred. Olsen, the delivery is now expected in the third quarter 2015.
Upon delivery, the Bollsta Dolphin will embark on a five-year contract with Chevron, in the UK North Sea, west of the Shetland Islands.
