A total of nine people died in an explosion that hit Cidade de São Mateus FPSO, offshore Brazil, in February

 

The most read article at Offshore Energy Today this past week was the one on BW Offshore recovering bodies of three Brazilian workers who went missing after an explosion on an FPSO in Brazil, on February 11, 2014. The final death toll from this incident stands at nine.

The second most popular article of the week was about the world’s largest jack-up rig setting sail from Singapore to Norway. Upon arrival, the rig, owned by Maersk Drilling, will drill for Statoil at the Gina Krog field.
