Prosafe: New CFO assumes his position

Prosafe’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Stig H. Christiansen, has assumed his position Monday.

Prosafe, the company that is the owner and operator of semi-submersible accommodation vessels, appointed Christiansen as its new CFO in July 2015.

According to Prosafe, Christiansen brings with him more than 20 years of experience from management and finance positions in the oil and gas industry. Since 2009 he has been Chief Executive Officer of the international oil service provider Add Energy Group AS and before that he was Senior Vice President – Group Finance in Statoil ASA.

The company noted that Christiansen will overlap with current CFO, Sven Børre Larsen, until the end of August.

To remind, Larsen resigned from his position as CFO of Prosafe in late May to assume the position of CFO in TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company.
