Energy services company Proserv has been awarded contracts worth a combined value of more than $11 million for its production control new-build and after-market services in the Middle East.
Proserv said on Tuesday it would be engineering and manufacturing wellhead control panels, hydraulic power units (HPUs) and chemical injection systems to national oil companies, service companies, and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies.
The company added that the equipment under the contracts would be manufactured in the United Arab Emirates.
Earlier in the year, Proserv opened its new Saudi Arabia facility and has recently secured its first orders for the provision of preventive maintenance and support services for HPUs. The second contract win involved the manufacturing and supply of emergency shutdown systems. All orders are expected to be delivered in 3Q and 4Q of this year.
In order to expand its local capabilities, Proserv has invested in its new facility in Saudi Arabia. The new 1,800m2 facility, located in Dammam, will provide engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, aftermarket support, and training services to onshore and offshore clients.
Andy Anderson, region president for the Middle East and Africa, said: “We have enjoyed a strong start to the year and expect this success to continue based on our growing market presence and unparalleled experience in the region for life of field services.”
In the Middle East region, Proserv has operations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
