North Sea work for ‘Edda Fonn’

Reach Subsea has signed contracts for an ROV / subsea vessel Edda Fonn in the North Sea.

According to the company, the contracts came as a result of a Joint Venture cooperation with MMT Sweden AB.

The contracts for Edda Fonn are for approximately 60 days and the work scope is primarily seabed mapping, light construction and seabed intervention.

Furthermore, the multi-purpose support vessel Stril Explorer, chartered to MMT, is expected to have high utilisation the same period.

As explained by Reach Subsea, the Edda Fonn will start its work directly upon arrival from the Mediterranean, where it had recently completed a five months contract. The vessel is currently underway, passing the Netherlands, as the Marine Traffic data shows.

The commercial terms have not been disclosed.

The vessel has an overall length of 84.7 meters, 18 meters abeam, 700 square meters aft deck and a 7.2×7.2 meters working moonpool.
