Remontowa to construct new AHTS

Poland’s Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A has received an order to build an AHTS vessel for a new client.

The contract for construction of an anchor handling, tug and supply vessel destined to serve in harsh environment conditions was signed on 8th of May 2014.

The vessel will be built for a Canadian – Norwegian joint venture. Upon delivery, the vessel will be chartered by ExxonMobil. The AHTS will be built according to Rolls-Royce Marine design.
