Simon Møkster gets hands on new PSV

Norway’s Simon Møkster Rederi yesterday took delivery of a newly built Platform Supply Vessel.

The yet-to-be-named vessel, of the Vard 01 PSV design, was delivered by Vard Aukra.

Tomorrow, the vessel will set sail to Stavanger where the naming ceremony will be held. The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, February 5.

According to data found on the Vard website, the 93.4 meters long vessel is designed for worldwide operations. It operates on both marine gas oil and liquefied natural Gas (LNG).

Simon Møkster has a fleet of 23 vessels and approximately 550 employees onshore and offshore.
